It is difficult to put into words how great Thai Orchid is. I have loved everything I have tried and the service is fantastic. The Massaman curry is the best I have had.

This is probably the best thai food place I've been to in Utah. The food is incredibly flavorful and the customer service was outstanding. The tables were left unclean for some time after customers left, but there was only one waitress there so I couldn't blame her. I loved that they made a special curry to go plate for me. Will definitely be going again

Small cozy restaurant... Quite disappointing when ordering as many items are out from chicken satay, mango with sticky rice and custard... A number of menu items are strike out as well. Rather worried that the owner has lost his passion on the restaurant. We ordered curry puff, tofu pad see yew and spicy green curry with chicken. The curry puff is ok, not spicy ... No meat inside only potato and curry. Both curry and pad see yew are good ...

We had a family dinner here yesterday and it was wonderful (although I was disappointed they had run out of curry puffs). The restaurant is very small but I like that because it feels more cozy. However, it does get noisy when the tables are full. I love all the decorations and the TV which shows people and places in Thailand. Our hostess/waitress was so cute and taught my son how to say hello in Thai. For appetizers, we had the spring rolls and calamari. Both were excellent. The chicken satay we ordered was well cooked but tender and juicy. I love the peanut sauce that comes with the satay! We ordered panang curry with chicken, red curry with beef, pork fried rice, beef pad thai, pork larb, pork pad kee mao, and chicken tom yum. It was all excellent. I especially liked the tanginess of the lime in the larb. The pad kee mao could have used a bit more meat (my husband is more of a carnivore). The fried rice was soft without being mushy and not greasy at all. The Tom Yum was not my favorite, but my brother loves it. I wasn't sure I would like it but it was quite good despite having a vinegar taste. I will say that the panang curry (mild) was hotter than the red curry (medium). But that may just be because they are different curries. It was all so delicious and we ended up ordering another chicken panang curry because everyone loved it so much. For 7 people, the prices were reasonable and we only had a little bit left over. My mom was disappointed that she was so full she had no room for mango and sticky rice. I wish they had fried bananas, but that's my only complaint. This is one of my favorite Thai places in the Salt Lake area (and we have been to quite a few). I love that it is family run. We are definitely repeat customers.

this is a great little Thai café kitty corner from Snyder Meats my spouse is Thai and we eat a lot of Thai cuisine. and the owner (Boon) is a great chef with authentic and deep flavors. we especially like the lunch deal where you can order your choice of 2 items from the menu the "Larp" is particularly tasty with hints of thai basil, mint, coriander, shallot and roasted ground jasmine rice; awesome savory dish Chef Boo is the nicest guy and so sweet

We tried 6 different plates. There was nothing I tried that I didn't love, all fresh and tasty. Service was friendly.

Yelp said I am too far away from this restaurant to check in even though I'm here now, but I will leave a review. My daughter Caity and I have eaten here twice-- both great experiences. They have many dishes--vegetarian, chicken, beef, pork or fish, tofu, regular or green curry sauce, peanut sauce, coconut milk sauce, etc. Most entrees come with a tiny salad and as much rice as you want. I have only had lunch here so dinner portions might be larger. Very friendly employees. Nice little restaurant.

This is my favorite "casual thai" in town, small family run place in a strip mall in Holiday. Hands down best home made Thai curry puffs around and really really good curry's. PraWan(peanut sauce and vegis) was only "ok" and haven't tried their Pad Thai or stirfryes yet. Prices are maybe a touch higher than expected but food is fresh and made from scratch so worth it IMO. Really wish they used recyclable take out containers can't stand those old styrofoam boxes.

Meh. The coconut soup was so watery with a few mushrooms and cabbage, very light. I have had the green curry here before and it was so spicy that my nostril hairs fell off. The family seems very nice tho. Place is very...quaint. Take out is better. There is no soy or sauces on the table, pet peeve of mine.

Small, quaint & good value. Dishes are not huge & overwhelming, but tasty & satisfying. The service was prompt & sincere. The chef himself came out to ask how our food was. It was nice & hot, the atmosphere was very authentic. Great experience !

This place has fantastic food and an unbelievably friendly staff! I lived in San Francisco for 12 years and this is as good as anything that I had while living there. My wife and I are total foodies and this is now on our short list in SLC. If you like spicy food, make sure you ask them to make it spicy... Perfect heat, and if it's not they'll crank it up a notch.

I'm not from SLC, and was thrilled to find a thai place during my business trip. Popped in for a quick lunch and had the lunch combo-some yellow curry + bbq chicken and it was pretty tasty, quick and easy. The curry was really good, but i might skip the bbq terriyaki-ish chicken next time. Thai iced tea was good too.

First visit to this small, quiet shopping center restaurant recommended by co-worker with good reviews on Yelp. Prompt, friendly service. Curry entree excellent, but not quite as good as my favorite Thai--the Tea Rose Diner. Stir fry entree also excellent and a little better than Tea Rose Diner! Will be back for sure!

Strip mall local joint surprisingly good. Real Thai people own it and real Thai cook. Ordered chicken sate appetizer a little on the dry side. Beef pad-seew noodle dish was excellent. Kids enjoyed that. Yum-woon-sen was tasty but could use more meat content and less veggy fluff. Gang-kew-wan was quite tasty cud use more meat in there too for $10 dish. Overall taste wise was worth 4 stars. The value did not quite live up to the price. But it is a good joint to definitely go back to. Check on the spice level with the wait staff if you are sensitive. And please don't for get mild curry dish is hard to come by because you have to put in some curry to make it a curry dish. Otherwise you'll just b eating coconut milk soup. Enjoy.

We wanted to come here at night and try their dinner menu. I ordered the green curry and was a bit disappointed. It tastes good but the portion was small. :( we will be back for lunch, but not dinner.

We love this place! After eating at tea rose for years and being disappointed with the drop in quality, my friend encouraged us to try this place. Hands-down the best Thai in the valley. Our favorite is the Tom Yum Noodle bowl. Great deal, amazing flavor. We also love the fresh spring rolls and home-made peanut sauce. Our new standard! ---I accidentally wrote this review for Siam Orchid. My bad!

Haven't had Thai food for awhile and went back to Thai Orchid. Very good food. Family run. Great lunch combo. Great price. Had my favorite Pad Gra Pow. So good.

Enjoyed the Panang Curry and sticky mango rice, but would prefer more meat/vegetables. The sauce to "mix ins" ratio was off. Otherwise, happy to support a local Holladay business.

For extraordinarily selfish reasons, I'm reluctant to write this review. You see, I'd rather have Thai Orchid remain the little secret I've kept for the past eight years. However, keeping that secret wouldn't be fair to the rest of you Yelpers who are looking for marvelous Thai cuisine. Thai Orchid is a very small restaurant with only ten to twelve tables, depending upon how they're arranged. The staff will kindly seat you quickly after you arrive. The lunch menu allows you to select two small dishes, whereas the dinner menu has many more a la carte varieties. (Take-out is also available.) You'll find tasty curries, rice and noodle dishes, along with a few appetizers and the best tom kha gai soup in town. (I'm a vegetarian, so I get tom kha tofu.) Most of the dishes can be made with chicken, pork, beef, or tofu, and the chef is happy to accommodate your desire for spice. I like spicy food, but I usually order 'medium' because 'hot' is just a bit too high. When your food arrives, you'll be very pleased with the care the chef took to prepare your food. Then when you taste it, you'll know that they only use the freshest of ingredients. The vegetables are always firm and crunchy, and the noodles are always boiled to perfection. The quality of the dishes is very consistent, and the flavors are simply remarkable. And during the summer, there's nothing more refreshing than their Thai iced tea. The only negative would be for vegans because the vast majority of their dishes have fish sauce. That precludes my daughter from sampling most of their menu. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of both the food and the service. Yes, the size of the restaurant might make it difficult to accommodate you on the busiest of nights. But trust me, it's worth the wait. If you're looking for exceptional Thai cuisine, try Thai Orchid, and then you'll understand why I wanted to keep it all to myself.

Nice warm friendly place with authentic Thai food. Favorite is Mussaman Curry, Chicken Satay and Peanut sauce. I could drink peanut sauce if they would serve it in a glass,

  • Howie O.

This is my favorite thai food in the country. Hands down the best. This is a small family owned operation and the owner cooks every single dish so the consistency is spot on. There are no off nights for this wok master. Since it is just the owner cooking you may have to wait a few minutes for your food but it is worth it every time.

I'm a huge fan of Tom Yum soup and there's is incredible. My wife loves green curry and liked there's alot. Ambiance could be better, but great food makes up for it. We'll be back regularly and will recommend to friends and family.

  • Brian B.

Very quaint (12 tables) but very authentic. Family run, Dad in kitchen and daughter serving. I had the green curry and found it to be great and authentic, freshly made. Serving size was good. We also had the Satay appetizers which were great. The sauce that comes with the Satay was great with fresh cut onion, carrot and herbs. My wife had the pad Thai and LOVED IT! Service was extremely quick as there were only 2 other groups in there. They were extremely polite and made sure we had a good experience.

Don't make the mistake of coming here on a Sunday!!!! This is my second time here; the first time my friend and I had the lunch combo, which wasn't great but at least we could justify it for the price paid. This time I came for dinner on a Sunday: coconut soup was terrible! Pad Thai had an excessive orange sauce that tasted old. Worst Thai food experience of my life! I wouldn't eat here again even for free. Next time I'm craving Thai food, I'll just drive a little bit further north/east and go to Ekamai. Service was poor also. "Waitress" stayed seated with two friends talking most of the time. Didn't even ask if my food was ok.

Delicious every time! Small cozy restaurant. Service can at times be slow, but it's always worth the wait. Our favorite neighborhood Thai restaurant!

Sounds like lunch is the way to go here. The menu is pretty simple with a few little surprises here and there, and the place is charmingly small. All things that I don't mind in a dinner place, but I usually love in a lunch place. The staff couldn't have been nicer. They were all over the water situtation, very helpful and honest in their recommendations on the menu, and the chef (owner?) came out and greeted every table when he had a chance. Pad Siew, Pad Thai, curry; we hit the basics and they were all good. I can't say the food knocked me over. It was good. Solid. Not any complaints. I'd drop in for lunch anytime without a reservation. And you're not going to be disappointed by coming here for dinner, but you're probably not going to be wowed, either. Then again, who needs to be wowed every meal? Sometimes a good, straightforward, no-nonsense meal of hearty Thai food is exactly what you want. That's definitely Thai Orchid and there's definitely something here.

I'll take Tea Rose Diner or several others over this place. The food was fine but didn't really justify the high prices. The meager portions on our dinner to go just added insult to injury. It'll be hard to justify another trip there with so many other good options around.

My boyfriend and I love Thai and this place is right down the street so we were excited to try it. I ordered Pad Kee Mao with beef (I always order the same thing the first time to compare restaurants) and it absolutely reeked of fish. While I am not a fish person, I understand fish and oyster sauces are common in Asian cooking and I can tolerate it generally, but this was AWFUL! I will never go back. Two thumbs way down.

When our first pick for lunch turned out to be closed, we took a look around and saw two restaurants. One had a full parking lot of cars in front of it, while the other looked like it, too, might be closed. We picked the restaurant less visited...and it made all the difference. With a proprietor who clear spoke English only as a second language and enough Thai art (elephant sculptures, multi-armed goddesses and the like) to fill a crate, I knew we were going to get authentic Thai cooks, if not also authentic food, and we did get authentic food. For my first meal at Thai Orchid, I chose a classic: pad thai. In response to our waitress' broken English question about spiciness, I said that I liked spicy. She smiled a grin that seemed to be half laughing at me. I could tell why as soon as I started into the sticky, sweet pasta-it was spicy. Add to that a pepper I had sprinkled over it, at the host's suggestion, and it was a meal that cleaned out my sinuses. I don't, however, regret it. The dish was excellent, and I left little on my plate. Among the many Thai restaurants I've sampled over the years, this is one of the better pad thai recipes I've enjoyed. I'll be back again soon.

This little place has friendly service & amazing food! Their yellow curry can't be beat! Only four stars because it's a super small place, but call ahead & you can get it to go!

  • danielle m.

I would give this 5 stars based on lunch alone, but seeing as that it's not really ambient enough for me to want to spend a dinner night here. However, the food is great. The lunch special comes with the perfect amount of food and the salad dressing is phenomenal. They also make a great tofu version of the tom kha, not too sweet. It's small, so lunch can get busy and a tad bit slow...but that's something you have to accept with pleasure and face the fact that there are 2 people on hand, server & cook. It's great. It's great food with great people making it for you. Who could ask for more?

People sometimes ask me what my favorite food is. Because I'm Indian, they assume I'll say Indian food. WRONG. If there's one cuisine I could eat forever, it would probably be Thai food, especially if I can get it from this restaurant! The service at the restaurant is impeccable - the waitress is super friendly and attentive. She also remembers your preferences. The second time I came to this restaurant, she remembered to give me extra hot sauce/powder on the side. The third time I came in, she remembered that I liked my entrees spicy without me even having to tell her. AND she brought out some hot sauce before I even asked! Each time I go here, I've tried something new. The first two times I went here, I got take out for lunch. The portions are perfect (even for a VERY hungry girl like me). It comes with two entrees, rice and salad. The salad dressing is DELICIOUS. (In fact, it was SO good that I ate the remaining dressing with rice even after I finished my salad!) The other great thing about this place is that everything has a distinct flavor and is never greasy! (Not like another [unnamed] Thai place nearby which has a tendency to get my husband sick at least once every three times he eats there. I don't know why he keeps going back. *shakes head*) I've tried the green curry, the massaman curry, the pad gra pow, the pra ram, the mee jay noodles and the pad siew. Everything was amazing! The Pra Ram was something new to me. It was incredibly peanut-y. (Not recommended if you don't like peanuts.) The Mee Jay was perfect! It was garlicky and perfectly done. The Pad Siew was also so delicious! Not gonna lie, my mouth is watering just thinking about the tasty tasty food here... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Well can't tell u how the food was bc the service was so bad we walked out. Went on Wednesday night around 6:30. We were only table as another couple left within minutes of us arriving. Waited 10 minutes for drinks and I never got my Thai tea. Waiter never came back for our order so we left. :/

My favorite Thai restaurant in Salt Lake. Family owned and operated, it is an authentic dining experience with a down home feeling. Like some of the other reviewers, I have found a favorite (Massaman Curry) and never have to look at a menu or place an order. They always remember me and deliver my 'usual' perfectly every time. It's great food, in a comfortable, friendly environment with reasonable prices

After having lived in Thailand for some time I have been very fond of Thai cuisine, but not just any Thai cuisine, I prefer authentic Thai cuisine. This place hits the nail on the head! The food here is authentic as it gets without buying a $1000 ticket to fly 8000 miles to Bangkok. The family that owns and operates this little restaurant is from Thailand and it shows. The look and feel of the restaurant is totally Thai. You cannot have a Thai restaurant without a picture of the King and this place has one. I'm sorry, nothing throws off the experience for me than to walk into a Thai restaurant with a sense of identity confusion. This place is not Japanese, not Korean, not Chinese, it is Thai and I love it. :D Now on to the most important part of a restaurant, the food. Thai food is spicy. Since moving back to the states everything tastes bland, I need some spice in my life. This food has it, though they don't often make it as spicy as i would like, but it's still good. I have tried nearly everything on their menu and I love all of it. I don't think there is a single item that I would not recommend and so I have a hard time coming up with favorites. It's like choosing between my right and my left foot, I sort of need both. Listed below are a few of my recommendations: As far as curry is concerned Gaeng Massaman is always a favortie by anyone who goes there, but I will suggest trying the Gaeng Ga Ree (yellow curry), it will blow your mind. Their Paad Gra Prow is amazing, but you should also try the Num Tok. Lots of people love Paad Thai, might I suggest trying the Paad Si-Ew as well. Also, you need to try the Som Taam (papaya salad), it is amazing. Don't just try the things everyone else loves, try something new everytime and trust me, you will enjoy it.

So I do not eat Thai food often but decided to go out and Try the Orchid. The place has a great feel to it with the decorations and the TV playing with scenes of Thailand. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful in my order. They even suggested a different meat that would taste better with the sauce I ordered so they really were looking out for me and cared about my experience there. The food was great. The taste was perfect. Like I said I haven't been to to many Thai places but this was the best Thai food I have had yet. I would (and will) definitely go there again.

A co-worker of mine recommended this place for authentic Thai food and I was very impressed with their food! I actually drove by the place many times in the past, but I never noticed its existence since their sign is not that noticeable, so it's very easy to miss them. From outside, you can only see the one-sided mirror, and you can't see what's inside until you open their door. The inside was surprising small for a restaurant, but comfortable enough once you sit down. There were only one other table during our visit on Saturday night around 7pm. This place is run by a Thai and the service was actually very good, the waitress had been very helpful in meeting my spicy demands with a lot of extra chopped Thai pepper, and the chef had a good chat with me after the food were served. We ordered the chicken satay for appetizer, and it came with two different sauces on the side. The chicken actually had enough flavour on its own without the sauce, one of the sauces was a peanut sauce that made it sweeter, and the other one had vinegar in it for a more sour flavour. Next is the Tom Yum soup, I asked for Thai spicy on the soup, the waitress bought out extra peppers for me on the side, but it was spicy enough without the extra peppers, the burning actually only last for about 1-2 seconds in your mouth, and it is very favourable afterward. For entrees, we had the Pan Siew and Pang Gang. The Pan Siew is similar to the Chinese flat noodles except more colourful and flavourful uniformly. I asked the Pang Gang to be cooked at Thai spicy level and it met my expectation on the spiciness scale, and it mixed in with the vegetable and curry flavour together very well. This is actually a surprising discovery in this area, I never thought I would find a place serving food at this level in a non-downtown area, and I would definitely return to this place again especially when I don't have to drive all the way to downtown.

My first time in SLC and I had a craving for Thai. There are a lot of options for places that have good ratings, but some seemed to be a little fancier than what I was wanting - a good 'ol hole-in-the-wall with an authentic ambiance. You know, that small hidden gem tucked away in an older shopping center. Found that here with this place! I walked in and was immediately greeted by the staff and they were all super nice and gave me a lot of recommendations. I ended up going with Pad Thai. It had the right amount of spice and big chunks of fried egg swimming around, which is exactly what I was hoping for and squashed my craving. I will definitely be coming back if I am ever in this area again.

  • Jen L.

This place is pretty good! We got the green curry and the pad Thai, both were exceptional. The only thing to be cautious of is the level of spiciness. The mild tasted like medium spice, so if you're a sissy like me, stick with the mild or no spice. Proportions are smaller than other Thai restaurants, but it actually ends up being the perfect amount so there's no leftovers. Would recommend :)

Fun night out with the hubby and his little bro and Thai food was definitely on the mind of at least one of us. So, we decided to try this cute little place. Little is a key word in describing this place. VERY small. And there is something fascinating about what that does to the sound in there. Somehow you can hear everything that everyone in the room says, very clearly, even if they are speaking quietly. I tried not to, but heard all about how this couple just got engaged in Paris. I tried not to talk about anything personal and really tried not to comment on anyone else in the room! It was cute though. Nice. Clean. All good. Some very interesting wall hangings. The best part was the staff. Very friendly. Totally on top of the water. Great to make recommendations and give opinions when asked. The food was good. Not the best I've had. But decent. I for sure would say yes if someone invited me to eat there again. But I might not make it my first pick.

I really like this place and go here often after work. They have always been quick and accurate. They remember me and my standard order -usually a pork green curry. They excel at curries and noodles - love the Pad Siew. Hidden in a strip-mall as it seems many a Thai restaurant is these days. Give 'em a try!

Mmmm just thinking about this place is making me crave it! My friend found this place and always talked it up to me so I just recently went with her to try it. Where do I begin? I ordered the Pad Siew with beef which was so delicious. I asked them to make mine spicy and they made it spicy! This is unsual because most restaurants are scared to add spice when you request it. The noodles, veggies, and beef were so good that I was silently ignoring my friends' conversation the whole time we were there. The price was really good for the great quality of food. The service is great. The atmosphere is great. If you love finding hole-in-the-wall places that have authentic food... this is perfect for you. Ever since I've been, I find myself daydreaming about it and now I have to beg my friend who introduced it to me to come with me on the weekends!

This place is was of the best Thai places i have ever been to. I had the Pad Thai and it was incredible. They were able to support our group of 9 without issue. My only complaint is that they couldn't keep my glass full of water which is slightly annoying when eating spicy food.

Very good food in this small, family run restaurant lost in a nondescript strip mall. Satay, pad kee mow, pad Thai, pad sieuw all delicious. Spice levels were accommodated to meet a range of requests. Service not so hot. Zero ambience. But the food is worthy of a casual dinner.

Went here for lunch with my wife, and decided to try this place after hearing about it from some of my friends. It is easy to miss the location if you have not been in the area before. The service is good and the food is decent but nothing like other places I have eaten at. I ordered a lunch special which came with two items, two balls of rice, and a salad. My wife had the Pad Thai, and we had calamari appetizer. The calamari was OK with nothing special, but the it seemed small (might be due to the big plate with small pieces on it). It came with a generic sauce that you buy at the store sadly. My wife's Pad Thai was not something she was a fan of as she has had better, but did like the cooked bean sprouts that were in it. The BBQ pork that I had was really bland and not what I expected from reading the menu, but it was good for my three year old to eat. They provided just soy sauce for dipping the meat in, which I am not a fan of. The salad was a basic mixed salad with a sesame type dressing which was good but small. Now with the best item that we had was the green curry that they had which was basic with chicken, but nothing to write home about. I have had better green curries in California eating Thai food sadly. The servings seem a little small for the price. Decent service with good but small servings sizes makes this place worth eating at if in the area wanting Thai food. Overall not a bad Thai place, but compared to others I have eaten at this is just A-OK.

Hands down the best Massaman Curry and Pad Gra Prow in the valley. The chef is fantastic and formally trained in Thailand from what I understand. What you'll get when you go to Thai Orchid is phenomenal food, Great service, pleasant atmosphere, and at a reasonable price. I've been to about all the Thai restaurants from Salt Lake to Provo and can say without any reservation that Thai Orchid is the best. For example, head in, order the Massaman Curry and Pad Gra Prow, and notice the subtle and important differences in spices used vs. someplace like Sawadee (which I also like). Most places around the valley use the same pastes, and do basically the same things, but you'll find that the folks at Thai orchid add their secret mix of spices to give it that mouth watering edge. I'm not employed by these guys or affiliated with them in any way, but I've recommended them to about everyone I know, have taken many many people there and all have agreed that this is some serious Thai food.

Thai Orchid was fantastic! It is a small place and would probably feel cramped if it was busy (It was not for us. We came during a snow storm). The staff was very friendly and attentive. Our waitress was very kind and helped those at our table who were not as familiar with Thai food make decisions. We made our selections and when the food arrived it was fantastic. Everyone tried everything and was impressed by the diversity of flavors. The curries were my favorite but their noodle dishes were fantastic as well. As we finished our meal the chef came out to ensure we had enjoyed everything. He was very kind.

Honestly some of the best Thai food I have ever had. The Gang Keow Wan (a medium green curry) was delicious. The Pad Thai was also amazing. We went on a Saturday night and our service was fast and efficient. We will be back!

I was introduced to Thai Orchid by a friend of mine, Kimo W. (see his review), and its true, he really does tell everyone about this place, so I'm not surprised to find him here yelping about it here. He's always looking out for good restaurants, especially Thai, wherever he goes, so I definitely trust his opinion. And he is completely right, this place really does have the BEST massaman curry! The first time I came was actually the first time I ever had massaman curry, and that was the day my obsession with massaman curry and thai food began. Now, I'm the kind of person that likes to research my options to find the best one. So once this thai obsession began, I started trying a bunch of different thai restaurants in Salt Lake, as well as Utah County, trying to figure out who had the best massaman curry around. There were some that were pretty dang good, and others not so much, but I always came back to Thai Orchid, because no one could beat their massaman. I'm assuming it may have to do with the secret spices Kimo talks about in his review? Whatever it is, it definitely won in my book. Because its in a small plaza that is easily overlooked in Holladay, it is never really busy, which is kind of a shame for the owners, but selfishly speaking is great for the customer. Not only is it never crowded, I've always experienced excellent service there. The servers there are always very friendly, making a pleasant experience. Thai Orchid is definitely my favorite Thai restaurant in Utah. It's a shame I recently moved out of state, leaving me to start my search all over again to find the best massaman curry, now in the SF bay area. Good thing I've got yelp to help me out with that. :)

This is hands down my favorite thai restaurant. I've tried 3 or 4 others in the valley, most of which are actually closer to my house, and we end up going back to Thai Orchid. Awesome massaman, green curry, chicken satay, and they have a rice dish that I can never remember the name of that has pineapple and some other stuff in it. All really good!

After reading the rave reviews, we had to try it! Unfortunately, the quality left us wanting, but the quantity was good. There were four of us and we ordered two appetizers and three entrees. The food was decent but lacked flavor. Not likely to revisit.

We went with a big group and tried everyones dishes. All of them were superb. The food was fresh and the staff were friendly. The best Thai restaurant I've been to in the valley.

So I decided to try this place out since I was in the area and I have yet to find a good Thai place in SLC. I ordered a Beef Massaman curry, a pretty standard dish in the Thai repertoire. Prices were a bit higher than usual, going for about $10.95 for a dinner entree, but I was hoping that maybe a higher price translated into better quality? Besides, I was in the area (although it would take me FOREVER to find this place..this place is so difficult to find...that even Google Maps has trouble finding it). But then, there was a surprise waiting for me when I finally got there (10-15 minutes after closing). The price was no longer 10.95 but 11.95. I was like, What??? I just looked at the menu online, and it said 10.95. Even the menu they had in the restaurant said 10.95. And so I asked the waitress and she was like "Yeah, our prices just changed." Just changed? How do you expect people to go along with this, when a lot of the time, they order based on the price they see on the menu, and the menu is wrong? OK, so that didn't go well with me. Then, when I finally tried the Beef Massaman, it was "OK, but definitely not worth the $12 I paid." Way overpriced. Needless to say, the quest for good, cheap Thai food continues...

Excellent neighborhood eatery! Small but clean and cozy. The massaman curry, Tom kha gai(creamy coconut soup), curry puffs, and stir fries are great on a cold night. The service is superb!

This restaurant is wonderful!! I was introduced to it by some neighbors that had found it. The restaurant is very small and I have actually only ordered take out from there. The staff are very friendly whenever I pickup my take out. I can only assume that one would receive excellent service there when dining in. Get the Thai green curry. Actually, the red curry is delicious too. Yummmmm...
